LOXWOOD

“THE CHURCH – There was a late evening service with sermon, by Rev. J. D. Trigge, the vicar, on Sunday last, being the last night of the old year, at which a large number were assembled. It was indeed a very hearty service, the musical portion being kindly conducted by Miss Smallpiece, of Merry Hills. The old church had been most beautifully decorated by the Misses Smallpiece and other ladies.”
